Precautions
- WARNING: Gasoline is extremely flammable, so take extra precautions when you work on any part of the fuel system.
- Work on a level surface.
- Use safety stands for support, not a jack.
- Keep an ABC fire extinguisher close by.
- Wear approved safety glasses
- Work in a well ventilated area.
- Do not smoke or allow open flames near vehicle.
- Disable fuel pump before servicing by removing fuse or battery cables.
- Relieve fuel system pressure before servicing pump.
