Dale Snoke owns the car and considers himself its curator. When he got the car he planned to do just enough to the car to get it back on the street, “where it made such an impression so many generations ago,” he says. That’s exactly what Dale has done. He has installed a few Derale parts for its cooling needs. Two 10 row Stack Plate Coolers with Dual Aluminum Mounting brackets for cooling the Engine Oil, mounted right up front under the grill. Also installed is a Bypass Thermostat along with a Sandwich Adapter and a Rigid Race Belt Driven Fan and a fan spacer.

At a Glance
1962 Impala SS
Owned by: Dale Snoke, Glendora, CA
Engine: 409ci/380hp V-8
Transmission: 4-speed manual
Rearend: 4.88 gears with Positraction
Interior: Red vinyl bucket seat
Special parts: Air shocks, aftermarket gauges, dual-quad intake with Carter AFB carbs, fenderwell headers, one 14×6 Astro front wheel, one 15×7 ET five-spoke rear wheel

["post-42742","car-builds","type-car-builds","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry
["GET
