Thank you for your interest in US Motor Works products.|
|4 Versus the Delphi FG0053, your pumps are much lower priced. For a cust. concerned with durability after two pump failures, they are worried about why it's so much cheaper. Is this a Chinese-built product?|
|yes, it is of Chinese origin, however, all fuel pump products go through vigorous quality inspections here in our plant to ensure quality and durability. Most probably the two Delphi pumps that failed on your vehicle were made in USA, and still failed, due to other issues which caused the pump to fail. |
|5 I bought a 6 volt EFP-9350-6 electric fuel pump from Mac,s. I want to use it to fill carb after sitting then turn off after starting. Will my existing mechcanical fuel pump be able to pull gas through the in line filter? 1950 stock Ford|
|Yes, All our Solenoid style universal pumps (USEP8011, USEP8012S, USEP8016S) can be used inline with a mechanical pump.
The internal construction of our electric pumps allow the Mechanical fuel pump to pull fuel through them when not powered.
The supplied in-line filter is also compatible with the mechanical fuel pump and will not pose any flow restrictions unless it has become clogged with debris.|
